I am in love

I know, I'm a few years behind the times. Hell, I didn't even read the Twilight series until this year. So me being behind shouldn't surprise anyone.

I have to say - Peapod from Stop and Shop is the most fantastic creation ever. Perhaps even better than slice bread. Because they will deliver the sliced bread to your door.

I don't think I can say enough good things about doing your grocery shopping online and having the groceries delivered to your kitchen. We have always had a hard time getting our grocery shopping done during the Summer, but now that we have the baby it was becoming impossible and it's not even Memorial Day yet.

So we bit the bullet and ordered Peapod. And I may never step foot into a grocery store again. Except we agreed we would only do this in the summer because there's no real need for us to pay extra when we have the time to do it in the colder months.

I will say I'm disappointed that they use plastic bags and don't have an option to not use them. But as of right now, that is my only complaint.

I don't understand. What's the difference between shopping in winter and shopping in summer?

We don't spend our weekends at home in the summer, so we never have time to grocery shop. In the fall/winter/early spring we are at home and can fit it in.

Though giving this up in the fall may be hard, even though we will have more time!

In New York delivered groceries were a must. With no car, there was a severe limitation on what you could bring home from the store yourself. You just can't carry it. For some reason now that I am home I forget how convenient that was. And after trying to take the kids into a Supermarket last weekend and having to say NO over and over again to every little thing they wanted to buy - I am going to have to look back into the delivery thing. Thanks for reminding me :)
