Glory days, well they'll pass you by
Glory days, in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days
Glory days

Matt, Katie, and Colin at Strange Brew. Which officially has cheaper beer than the pub! As long as you like Coors Light

Me and Jennhead, also at Strangebrew. Yay for the Burkes being back in New England!!

The settings on my camera were obviously messed up that night :( Self portrait of me and Andrew

Me and Val at..... you guessed it, Strange Brew (I didn't take any other pictures!!!)

The Clique. Clearly Colin was paying for Katie that night, as she was apparently too good for the $1.75 Coors Light Draft! Someone had to have a bottle!

Sean, Andrew, and Matt. That's Matt's Redbull and Vodka on the table. If there every was a more disgusting drink, I don't know what it possibly could be!

Well that's all of my halfway decent pictures. I really need to remember to take pictuers at the beginning of the night and not at the end! But it was a good time, fun was had by all. I can't tell you how excited I am that Strange Brew has $1.75 dafts!

I am so bored.

You know the kind of bored that you don't want to do anything, and even things that you enjoy doing don't hold any appeal? It's just one of those days. I really need to finish my honeymoon scrapbook, but the thought of dragging all my scrapping stuff out of my closet is prooving too difficult. I have my beloved Patriots, but even Tedy securing a turnover isn't doing it for me. Yesterday I wasn't as bored, I had class in the morning and in the afternoon we hung out with Jenn, Sean, Leah, and Katie - that was fun. But then the absolute boredom kicked in. Andrew's in quite a bit of pain today, so he isn't into doing much - in fact he is currently asleep. My parents aren't home, so I can't even go there and complain to them about how bored I am and make my mother cook me dinner (besides, I already invited myself to dinner last Thursday!). I want to get outside because it is such a beautiful day, but I don't want to walk by myself, and as previously stated Andrew is a) in a lot of pain, and b) asleep. I have HR reading I need to catch up on - but let's not kid ourselves. I'm not doing that. Maybe tomorrow, but not today.

And I'm not hungry at all, but I want to snack. A classic symptom of absolute boredome. But luckily for me, we don't have any food. I could go food shopping, but I don't want to. Andrew has recently started refusing to go food shopping. That angers me, as I don't believe I should be the sole food shopper in the house. I don't like doing it any more than he does. So I am on a food shopping strike until he goes himself or comes with me to do it.

You can probably tell what kind of mood I am in. Boo to life. Thankfully next weekend I will be back in the SAC, reliving the best years of my life. Not quite reliving, but I will be drinking at the pub and eating fries and ranch. I wonder if I can convince people to (ooohh... Ben Watson just made a good play. Go Ben) walk around the Monastary (and then Mulroney ran it up the middle. You know how I feel about that) trails. :) That is fun, especially at night. Maybe Jenn and I will see men that aren't really there this time. Probably not, as I doubt we will each consume our own 6 pack of Mike's. This is for a multitude of reasons. One being I cannot even take a sip of Mike's Hard Lemonade without my stomach convulsing in pain. Another being, I don't think Jenn dinks that anymore either. A third reason being beer is cheaper and tastes bettter than Mikes. And finally because neither Jenn nor I could possible consume 6 drinks in such short a time as we did back in the day. We aren't 18 (err.... I mean 21) anymore. But I think homecoming should be fun. It's always good to hang out with old friends and drink cheap beer. What could be better?

Here is the part of the show where I post random pictures and then comment on them

This is me and Katie getting ready to go out on the town in New York. As I remember we only made it to one bar that night, but it was the spinning bar at the top of the Marriott in Times Square and it was a lot of fun, so it was a cool night.

This is me and Courtney at a BC football game back in October of 2005. That was the game where we took my mother's Explorer and the battery died when we were leaving. So we asked everyone in the parking lot to jump us and when we finally found someone, we couldn't get the hood open. We called my father who told us we had to bang on the hood to open it, but we still couldn't do it. Two hours later AAA came, got the hood open and we jumped the car and went home. We got lost on the way home. What a game!

Okay, that's it for now. I will catch you all on the flip side. =)

How to Save a Life

Not much new in the land o' Meghan. 4 days of work this week because I have to stay home on Friday and take care of poor sick Andrew who is getting two more teeth pulled on Friday (I love the fact that I don't have Wisdom teeth!!). Which means 3 more work days to go!

I got up at 5:15 again today. Yep, that's right, I am attempting to go to the gym in the mornings again. This is week 2. It isn't getting any easier, but I'm trying.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. If you aren't watching this show, shame on you! It's pretty good. Amanda Peet annoys me, but I'm finding her a little easier to take in this show. Matthew Perry does an awesome job staying away from Chandler and I'm only seeing a little bit of Josh in Bradley Whitford. I actually thought that Danny (aka Bradley Whitford) did a total Chander in last weeks episode. "Could you BE any more Jewish?". I don't know if he did it on purpose or not, but I thought it was funny. So watch it - it's pretty good. It's on at 10pm on Monday nights, but I usually don't watch it until the end of the week because I can't stay up till 11 and get up at 5:15.

Also, this Wednesday LOST starts. I cannot keep up with the plot lines with my sporadic blogging, but please see www.breegetslost.blogspot.com if you have any questions. Also, feel free to leave a comment saying just how scared of that blog you really are :)

Or course Gilmore Girls is a Tuesday night happy hour. Again, I won't be watching it or commenting on Tuesday because of class, but I AM going to try to keep up the Gilmore Girls Quote of the Week. Just don't expect it right away. Mo is better at keeping up with the posts about it that I am. www.wereinafight.blogspot.com. That blog isn't as scary as the previously mentioned LOST blog, but you can leave a comment there as well.

And while we're at it, Grey's and Numb3rs fill up your week. But I really want to comment on Ugly Betty. I watched it last week and I thought it was really good. They totally ripped off Devil Wears Prada (really great chicklit book) but I still thought it was funny. It's totally cheesy, over the top ridiculus drama - it's almost like Zoolander sometimes, only it's trying to be serious. But I liked it. I accepted the cheesy drama filled ridiculousness of it. The girl who plays Betty is really good (Alexis, if you are reading this, you could learn something from her! he he he) and it's great to see a real live curvy women on TV. And by "curvy" I don't mean huge boobs and really great ass but teeny tiny waist. I mean someone who is a little FLUFFY AROUND THE EQUATOR with some hips and butt to go with it. Of course she has the boobs too. Isn't she lucky. Me - not so much.

Surprisingly I don't sit around and watch TV with my entire life. This weekend Andrew and I bought Monopoly, Here and Now edition. It's been really fun, I currently own Fenway Park and I'm desperately trying to get Times Square before Andrew lands on it. The next time we'll have time to play will probably be Wednesday, so I will let you know if I get it!

Andrew took the GMAT this Saturday. I am happy to report he took it out back and beat the crap out of hit. So YAY for Andrew!!!

Okay, my dishwasher is making some funky sounds, so I must go investigate. Catch y'all later.
