bargain

Last week when Andrew was going on and on about the Broonz, I made a bargain with him. I will talk to him about soccer and golf whenever he wants to. But he isn't allowed to mention the Red Sox or Bruins or Celtics in my presence. He actually has to pretend they don't exist if I am around. We made a deal last year that they can only be on the big TV if there is no previously scheduled television show on. (previously scheduled meaning something that either I or we watch with regularity). So I have to keep up my end of the bargain.

Soccer: So far the Revs are doing okay - they've only played two games. They beat Houston 3-0 and lost to Chicago 4-0. Taylor Twellman couldn't play in the Chicago game because he had to have arthroscopy on his knee. He's expected to miss the next 6 weeks, so we'll see how well the team does without him. I can't watch on Wednesday when they play KC at 8pm because I have class. So you should watch it. More people should watch MLS. Wednesday's game is on TV 38.

Golf: Masters is going on right now. As of publishing, the current leader is Zach Johnson - aka the winner of the 2007 Masters. Tiger is tied for 2nd at +3. We'll get more into the Masters this weekend.

So in order for me to hold myself up to my end of the bargain (so I can make Andrew shut the eff up when he starts talking about the Other Boston Sports Teams) I need to keep myself up to date. Therefore, you - my adoring fans - will be kept up to date as well
